This publication is born from the countless times I have seen people asking in the Facebook groups I participate about the ideal accommodations for families in our beautiful island.
I always say the same thing, it depends a lot on the area you prefer, the budget you have and what each family prioritizes. Fortunately, we have a wide and interesting range of establishments adapted to the needs of travelling with children, so I will mention the most outstanding ones.
It should also be added that Your Travel Baby provides a rental service for children’s products (strollers, high chairs, cribs, etc.) throughout the island of Gran Canaria. Therefore we can take the products you rent to any place where you stay or even if you prefer, to the airport. - Altamadores 4*: Located in the hillside of Amadores, approximately 1 km. from the beach and 2.5 km. from the tourist center of Puerto Rico. - Relaxia Los Girasoles: Located in Playa del Inglés, a few metres from the Yumbo Shopping Centre. The complex has a great quiet and family atmosphere. With children’s pool and playground.
- Caybeach Meloneras: Located in Meloneras, 600 m. from the beach. Ideal for families because of its comfortable bungalows and 2-bedroom duplexes. It has a children’s pool, playground and mini-club.
- Eó Maspalomas Resort: Located in the international field very close to Playa del Inglés. It offers apartments equipped with kitchen and small appliances that will make the trip with babies or small children much more comfortable. It also has a children’s swimming pool.
- Eó Suite Hotel Jardín Dorado: Located on the international course of Maspalomas, next to the Maspalomas Golf course and the Maspalomas Tennis Club. Children from 2-6 years old can stay for free by booking directly on their website. You also have the option of All Inclusive. The Junior Suite with “Kitchenette” is worth mentioning. It also has a children’s pool, playground and mini-club service in July and August.
